Class Date: Wednesday, July 12, from 12:30 PM - 4 PM
Instructor: Johellen George
Class Type: Longarm – Hand-Guided
Add some new patterns to your basic longarm skills and learn to use the natural motion of the sewing head to your advantage in Johellen’s class. You will be working relatively small in order to get lots of practice, but these low stress patterns easily can be enlarged for full-sized quilts.
As an added bonus, Johellen will share how she began turning her practice pieces into baby burp cloths! You can square up your fabric at home and then serge or bind the edges to create some wonderful baby gifts of your own!
Kit Fee: $15 (payable at class), includes gender-neutral flannels and cotton batting.
Supplies to bring to class: Bring your pencil and sketchbook to keep a record of patterns that you learn and a Sharpie (pointy, but not super skinny point) for sketching practice before you quilt a pattern.
Use spaces to separate tags. Use single quotes (') for phrases.
